Thank you for the knowledge! I've decided to go with a fuel pump cause I do not here in priming with KOEO. I'll let you guys know how this works out for me, if that doesn't work I'll be checking starting and alternator.

The clutch switch may also be an issue.

Make sure you're getting 12v at the starter when you hit the button. If it's less check the charging system. If it's zero check the safety and start circuits. If it's 12V, the solenoid contacts may be worn, or the bendix is binding from being hot.

Thanks SgtB, I'll check that.

Thomsbrain- in my case nothing at all, push the button and nothing happens. I have found that if I hit the dash or trans tunnel with my hand it starts immediately, hard to explain without sounding like an idiot but it's like something's sticking and the shock sorts it. Same result if I dump the clutch pedal, which is why I think it's solenoid related.

Unfortunately I have limited knowledge on electrics and zero on the s2000 starter circuit.

Next time it happens, wiggle the clutch pedal. The switch may be bad or need adjustment.

Same setup. Clutch has be down for it to start. Most likely you have a switch issue if the battery is good.

Hmm I've never pressed the clutch down when starting the car though, just turn the key and press the button, as far as I can see there isn't even a switch around the clutch pedal :/.
