This problem started recently. Usually the car fires up after two cranks. Recently the car takes 5-6 cranks to start up half of the time. Then after starting, the engine bucks a bit, and the idle is rough until I give it some gas, then it calms down. It's worse when I start up with the a/c already on. I'm not sure if the extremely high summer temperature has anything to do with it. Fuel issue? Map sensor?

 

Have you tried turning the key on and waiting to start it (primes the fuel pump)
