Steering collar install this weekend-quick question
I am doing the install over the weekend and have a question. I am going to do a front bump steer kit as well and was thinking it would be easier to do both at the same time and avoid unbolting the steering rack coupler. Can someone confirm that if I unbolt the actual rack itself there is no need to unbolt the coupler as specified in the DIY. I can't see why there would be I just figure it is easy enough to confirm.

Read that the kit is not needed, 25mm drop i presume

Depends, I think if you do an extended ball joint or especially an RCA it will further correct. But yeah for the most part I don't hear much noticeable change. That said I got them for $40 so why not?

I have talked with Andrew quite extensively about his setup, I actually went with 10k f/r based on that conversation and grabbed his 10k springs. At the end of the day while he has a lot of experience and knowledge it is all just opinion. You really have to visualize what changes are occurring to the geometry and decide if correcting it will result in a positive change. In this case it was $40, so it was worth tossing on for me
