Default Steering Rack Issue

Its been a few weeks where I turn the wheel left or right it skips like if its on gravel or something. There's no leaks or anything, no lights when it does it either. Is it that the steering rack is starting to go out?

Could be in the rack itself, but gauging by how far slammed your car is, a likely alternative is one or both of your tie rod ends is failing from working at such a severe angle. They are near parallel at stock ride height, and when you lower the car they point up at a sever angle depending on how much you lowered the car. If one of these ends breaks your wheel will fold in or out and you will have no steering. Id get it up on a rack and look at it asap.

Do the wheels not turn the whole time, or is the power assist skipping?

Check and make sure that the steering shaft bolt is tight at the joint. It's the one with the boot under the clutch master cylinder.

I'm actually not really slammed, I have about a finger gap all the way around. It only skips when the car is stationary, I'll poke around after work tomorrow, thanks guys
