I did it a million times already and it fixed the problem for some time, then it made it worse the last time I did it (got even lighter). I havent done it since the last alignment so I'll try it again.

Its not vague in just one direction, its vague in both just even vaguer to the left.

You said WAY better. that is indicative of needing a re-write.

The re-write can make it worse if your inputs to the steering are not perfect when doing the re-write.

I was exaggerating a bit, its not enormously better, just noticeably. I'll try resetting it again in a bit

Is there any way to test if the steering rack is okay? I never did anything to the front of the car, no curbing or anything. I can't be sure if this happened since I had the car (the front bumper does have a slightly different hue to its paint) so it could have been from the previous owner

Forgot to mention that I had an accident (left rear wheel hit a curb) and I'm not sure if the front was involved. The front left wheel was scratched a bit but I didnt feel an impact oj the front. The wheel feels weird when turning left, right is completely fine but it feels like the front rolls a lot when you turn left (the wheel is also a bit lighter when turning left). Could I have bent any control arms or anything? Maybe the steering rack? Any way to find out if anythings bent?

Raise the car, grab one tire/wheel at 3 and 9, and slowly steer the wheels all the way left and right. Look for any binding.

That will tell you all you need to know about anything bent causing the problem.

Yes the rack can be bent from any hits to the wheels/knuckles.
