Stiff Shifting
Just this weekend at the track, I noticed an issue with shifting. When up shifting into 3rd and 4th, there is a slight resistance before going into the gear. It probably only takes an extra fraction of a second but if feels like an eternity when you're pushing for a fast lap. The same thing when down shifting into 2nd and 3rd.
On the way home, it didn't seem to really be an issue (ie. much lower revs) except shifting into 5th which would sometimes grind (maybe 1 out of 4 times). The tranny fluid has 5 track days on it (almost no street driving). The clutch is of unknown age (greater than 20K km for sure). The car is a 2001 AP1 with around 120k km on it.
I also noticed a (possibly new) squeak coming from the shift linkage when I move the shifter just a bit. It could have been there before though as the car is pretty damn loud
When the car is stopped it goes through the gears with no problem.
Any thoughts?

I've been using the new Honda MTF for awhile. Usually change it every 5-6 track days.
My guess was the shifter forks or synchros but I was hoping someone else had the exact same problem diagnosed. I'll be taking it to a pro for that I guess

Just a shot but have you bled the clutch lately? Sometimes what seems like a transmission issue is a clutch problem. Have you checked the clutch master cylinder? If the clutch isnt engaging and disengaging properly then that could be the problem.
