Default Still that strange one...

So I've taken my car in to the dealership to get the noise looked at, and they claim (not surprisingly) that there is no noise. Having access to 3 other AP2 S2Ks and driving them, I know for a fact that my car is making a noise. I still can't figure out what it is, nor can I find anything like it on these forums...

Either way, here goes another shot...

When I'm turning to the RIGHT, I get this constant and rapid clicking noise coming from the LEFT side of the car. I'm fairly certain it's from the rear, but I'm not 100% sure of it. It almost sounds like little sparks going off. I know this could happen if I have tires down to the metal, but I've got a nice amount of tread left. Anybody ever experience this? It is most noticeable at low speeds, maybe 2nd gear turns or so, and sharp corners usually don't produce the noise. Best way to hear it is to take a loooonnngggg steady right turn at constant speed. The rate at which the noise goes off is somewhat proportional to the speed at which I'm driving. The more annoying thing is that it happens MOST, but not all of the time, meaning Honda may not even catch it.

I also noticed another time I hear it: when I'm going over a slightly bumpy road, it'll go off intermittently here and there as I go over bumps.

Anybody have any clues or ideas?

Since you think it's coming from the rear, I wonder if it could be the inner CV joints, although you have an 05. There was a TSB on the inner CVs on AP1s but I don't remember hearing anything about theat problem on AP2s.

Next, I'm thinking if the rear axle nuts have loosened up. There was a TSB on this too, but I don't know if it applied to the AP2 or not.

Another idea, maybe an ABS sensor touching the splined part at the weel (don't know what the part is called). That's all I can think of right now.

Oh I see.

Well I'm taking it for service at a more reputable dealership tomorrow morning. Even if the noise doesn't come out, you think they'll lube and torque my suspension to factory settings under warranty?

Thanks and regards.

Just a hunch:

Check your wheel weights. I seem to recall someone saying a while back that they can flap around if not properly secured.
