^I'm inclined to agree with you. I'm actually installing a K&N air filter on my car later today (it just passed 30,000 miles and is time to replace filter). I pre-ordered it at Advance Auto for like $58.

I'm not concerned with the K&N filter hurting my engine. I've had a K&N filter on my Integra for over 130,000 miles. It currently has 281,000 miles and doesn't burn any oil. So I'm not really worried about a K&N hurting the engine of my S2000.

lol Hard facts flying in from all over the place. Again, why run a filter at all when you can run a mesh screen? I doubt you would notice a difference. With the Big 3 being strapped for better fuel economy and K&N's magical claims, these filters should be OE.

This is actually a pretty amusing argument and I get a good laugh every time it comes up. With K&N's track record, this topic is particularly interesting as 'omg what oil do i use?' threads pop up and there is always a gang of people ready to chime on in $60 Amsoil/RP oil changes and their $10 PCX filters.

Does the wix have the light oil coat light the factory? 170 cfm seems odd, this engine is 2x that at full chat.

Yeah, but how many CFM is the cabin filter?

I think I'm willing to gamble on the Wix(s).

Strange, I've been OEM-only for decades on loil filters... air filters I don't give a R.A.?
