Can anyone tell me what the stock fuel injector size is please? My buddy has some rc 370's that he is willing to give to me and I need to know if it worth it or not?

 

They are in the area of 360 to 380.

Why would you change your injectors? What do you expect to accomplish? Do you have an aftermarket EMS?

 

I am about to buy a turbo for the car and I was wondering if it is worth getting the 370's or going to 550's. I was only going to run like five pounds of boost off the bat.

 

370s won't do anything for you as they are about the same as stock. You only increase injector size if you have a way of controlling them. I used 440s with 5 lb and an E-manage without issue. I'm now at 8lb so I use 550s and an AEM EMS to control them.

Although it isn't the recommended tuning method you could do what Comptech and Vortech do with their SCs. Use a high ratio boost dependant regulator to increase fuel under boost and a voltage clamp to hide the boost from the ECU. You'd run this with stock injectors. I wouldn't go above 5lbs with this set up though. Particularly with a turbo as you will be in boost much lower in the rev range.
