Default Strange noises from a standing start

This is something quite peculiar and I've noticed it going on for only the last two weeks. From a standing start I hear a weird sound similar to a police siren when someone is being pulled over. Not a non stop sound but rather 2 quick " whoop! " 's. I have no idea what this noise couldbe as it only happens every once in a while. ( three times in the last two weeks )

Everyones input is greatly appreciated.

I would like to, but it's a problem that randomly appears... Otherwise my mechanic would be all over that right now.

No, its not when i first start the car. If anything I think it happens shortly after Ive started , and say I'm exiting a parking lot and turning out onto the main streets. But I think one of the instances happened at a red light turned green at which time I had already been driving for a while. Its quite baffling

Maybe sticky brake pad? Just throwing ideas out. I say go to the Wed meets and maybe you can at least explain the noise better to one of the guys there.
