I have the same problem, but mine is in the front. I notice it when I'm turning really hard out of parking spots, my front axle seems to pop. I've only noticed it when I have the wheels turned hard to the left, cause I usually don't back out to the right. At first I thought my lug nuts came loose, and my tire was wobbling, but I went and checked them, and they're all tight, and the wheel is sitting flush against the rotor.

I have no idea. I wondered about the CV joint or possibly tie rod ends wearing out (I'm assuming S2K's have tie rod ends... haven't really looked at the suspension much.)

Mines a MY02 with 24600 miles... Seems a little too early for something like a tie rod end or anything like that to be going out. I'll check later to see if it pops when I go to the right, but I only notice it when I'm doing slow speeds backing out of a spot, cause I usually have my steering wheel cranked pretty hard.
