you're right, i shouldve known better. Hopefully the flushing the eng. with 2 quarts of oil is good enough to get everything out.

Took it for a 20 minute spin, no leak AT ALL.

Over tightening of the bolt so the threads break loose. Tapping is making new threads into the pan for the oil bolt.

same thing is happening to me. i am going to try the 14 mm 1.5 pitch self tapping bolt. hopefully it works like yours did

make sure you get the 14mm 1.5 pitch SINGLE OVERSIZED. GL.
