Default Studders at VTEC

So here I am taking off in 1st gear... at around 7k - 7.4k (still got about 700RPM to go before Redline), the car starts studder as if i hit the Rev Limiter... So i slowed down thinking Dayaaam, wtf?... waited a few sec and floored it... AGAIN it studders... So I stop the car to make sure everything is ok.... drove around normally for a min then WOT it again to see the problem persist... Ran perfectly... hit the 8k mark w/o trouble... So... Anyone know what the hell happened?

let your car warm up first... the ECU is preventing you from hitting the high revs until your engine is at temp...

4 bars not enough? Cause I usually got a habit letting my car warm up for a good 5 min before taking off

Assuming you're at temp, normally that means your oil pressure is dropping in and out causing the vtec to kick in and out to protect the motor.

I think at 3 bars you should be good to go into the VTEC range... if you're getting this symptom even after the car is warmed up then you've got some issues.
