go to a homedepot and get these little discs that are clear. they go between cupboards and the doors. the are way snmaller than a dime and you can place them on the glovebox between the door and the box itself to put some "pressure" on the latch to keep it tight. plus they are normally soft material so they help[ with vibration by just being there let alone taking up the slack.
