Where is the fuel smell coming from?

Is it coming from under the hood? Gas cap? Fumes from exhaust?

Is it possible you have a leaky injector o-ring?

I'm not sure about the engine. Gas cap was just tested today during inspection. Exhaust and in the cabin is where I normally smell it

Pulled the plugs after sticking a screwdriver to the injector body. I didn't really hear any out of the ordinary firing. Could it still be stuck open? If so what would it sound Like? 2 and 3 kinda smelt like fuel but not a hardcore smell. I put them in my hands according to how I pulled them out.

Are you getting spark on all 4 cylinders? No spark or too much fuel could be happening. If no spark, maybe coilpack fried? If too much fuel maybe injector stuck open?

Update. Did a compression test 1-205 2-210 3-210 4-210. Still getting smelly plugs and exhaust. Going to go ahead and replace injectors since it's so cheap. Car has 197k

If it's running like shit at idle, assuming your spark system is running nominally then your injectors can be leaking.

You can also see if the engine is trimming the hell out of the fuel on short term fuel trims via OBD2

Perhaps the TCT? My car runs a lot better and smoother with Billman's TCT. ...like a different engine in it now.

Before I installed the new TCT.. I never/rarely used AC, because it bogged my engine coming to a stop and made it runs super crappy and slow. Now, it seems that the TCT fixed that.

Also, I've heard about clogged and old cats affecting performance a lot and messing with fuel mixtures (especially since a lot of S2ks are high mileage nowadays). Irdk how to tell if one's catalytic converter needs replacing or not though (I'm still on my original cat at 115k miles).
