I just got my s2000 and love it, but cant resist the possibility of more power...couple of questions...what is stock rear wheel hp??? The compression is awful high for supercharging?! I assume the system cuts back timing, but is that good enough? How does the drive system cope with 9000 rpm??? To get boost under 6000, it really must spin at 9000!! What is the boost psi?

Lou, It's under 1 psi @ 4000RPM rising to just over 6 psi @ 9000RPM.

My stock rear wheel horsepower (done 2 days before the supercharger was installed) was 196.5.

My car was dynoed with version 1.0 of check valve. It worked fine but eventually developed a "check engine" light problem. I have not dynoed the car with version 3.10.

The code was something to do with secondary air system I believe. What it was was that the valve was allowing the MAP to read boost to some extent. For some reason though, it didn't affect performance. I may be wrong on this so don't quote me. The car runs fine now with no light.

YeloS2000ShowGrl,

There's some other choices to look at if you click on the MG sponsor banner at the bottom. However, I do like the Veilside kit at well.
