Hey Shaner....does it kick ass (April post) or suck (May post)? Your posts are very contradictory:

I'm not sure... It feels and runs great but seemed no faster than a stock Stook. While the dyno proved I have the horsepower, the car proved nothing on the road.

I am totally confused about my car at the moment (obviously).

One other note: I pulled a few fuses recently and reset my ECU (Mugen) and is in its 'learning cycle' where it alters and adjusts the idle rpm (1000, 2000, 3000, 1000...) when the car is just turned on in the morning. It does this every time I reset the ECU. Maybe it needs to finish learning.

I do think that I will be going back to the stock ECU...

That just shouldn't be.

Shaner, any decision on that yet? How is your S2K running?

shaner are getting any hesitations? I know my SCS2K is faster than a NA. When I am on a drive with others I always have to slow down when we are passing other cars at WOT so I don't run into the back of them.

YeloS2000ShowGrl,

The Comptech SC is a must get if you have the money for it. While I really really like and admire S2K Fan kit, I don't know that it would be as practical in Jersey, specially if you are planning on lowering the car (I live in Jersey as well and know the horrible roads we have here!). I think the few simple add on pieces that Honda offers for the car (which is what SilverSurfer did and I started) look gorgous. I guess its just something you may want to consider while shopping for a kit.

(more pictures of the S2000 with all extra add ons that Honda makes for it, nice work Wesmaster!)

All what Comptech has to offer is on their site

Yet another great site with many useful links, very informative

As the previously mentioned, definitely check the MG Racing site, lots of good stuff.

Good luck!, I love my yellow S2K too!.

I want the SC'er and I drooled over Silver Surfers at lunch one day. It says that Aaron's Supercharged S2000 is 340HP at the wheels. So if I get the SC'er, and lower the compression, give it more boost (how much more?) and add an intercooler, K&N air filter. Would that bring me over the 300 HP mark? I don't know about the torque still under 200lb's. It would be nice if we can get that to 220+lbs.

I was wondering if any SC'd owners have experienced any hidden maintenance costs due to SC'ing.ê
