I've seen it at Moroso and couldn't stop drooling!

Ben- Take some pics man! Your car should be in a magazine.
If we can't get my DAZZ wheels figured out, I might look into some HRE's from you.

Hey guys, I ordered my s/c last week through the groupbuy. Is there anything I should know? I'm going to see if Denko can set me up with the intercooled job they did on Aarons:

Modacar told me it will come in June, so I'll probably have it installed in July when I'm in Florida.

Can't wait.

Denko did the job. They're a local performance shop a couple miles from me. I'm going to see if they can do the same setup for me as they did for him. I haven't called them to get all the details yet, but I'm sure everything would fit behind the stock bumper, he just got the custom one for show, I personally don't like it all that much.

Go to the link and you can see the list of what's been donw to it. I guess it's an XS Engineering intercooler w/ some custom piping.

When June starts rolling around and my supercharger is coming, I'm going to talk to the shop and see what they can do for me. I want to get it first before I set things up, keep things quiet with the locals, that way nobody will know I'm getting it until its in my car.

SCS2k,

You got 292.5 HP?!? Maybe I 'over-modded'... I only got 277.0 as my max. My curve is extremely linear with pre-VTEC in line with post-VTEC except for the 'blip' right before VTEC engagement.

I was also running lean... so I need to increase fuel.

My modifications: which have to go?

-Custom cold air intake (dual filtered) = Comptech's air box... both got 277 with fans blowing
-TB Bore
-Intake manifold extrude/hone
-Mugen headers
-BYS straight pipe catalyst replacement
-Comptech exhaust
-GhostBooster check valve replacement

-Is Aaron's intercooler REALLY going to give 40 hp? If it will, I will remove my cusom cold-air intake, put Comptech's box back in, and put in the intercooler...

Help me guys!

I did three runs on a dyno jet. 70 degrees on 12/9/00 2:41pm.

First run 286.5 hp.
Second run 292.5 hp.
Third run 287.8 hp.

No mods except supercharger and the lid was off of the Comptech airbox. Must be the dense, polluted air in Phoenix.
