i have noticed that my suspension has started to squeak when i take off...not racing or anything jus when im coming out of a stop or something like that..... sometimes when i slow down.....to me to sounds kinda like a flexing squeaking sounds like something is bout to brake!!! i put the car on jack stands and didnt find anything......any advise would be appreciated thanks!!!!

 

Mine started making a funny sound so I looked and saw this:


Notice the wet place. Shock leaking FTL. Got another one just haven't replaced it yet. Probably a job for this weekend.

 

changed my struts but still males the flexing squeaking noise. HELP!!!!

 

is it a scratchy squeaking noise?

 

When my '00 made this sound it ended up being the upper a-arm bushings. The bushings are rubber and are supposed to flex as the suspension travels. If the rubber cracks then it's rubber rotating on rubber. It's hard to see by inspection, but you may see fresh dark rubber instead of dirty rubber. Try spraying WD-40 on the bushings to see if the sound changes. It got louder when I did this.

Be sure to look at all the suspension bushings including the one at the bottom of the shock.
