Default Swapping In

A JDM F20C. I searched the forums and couldn't really find anything to let me know there is gonna be problems with parts being on opposite sides, seeing as JDM=RHD and USDM=LHD. I did manage to see where someone before had problems with the ECU. When they had the JDM one in the car wouldn't hit vtec, but when they swapped in the USDM ECU the car just wouldn't start. I also read that there is not a oil pressure sensor for vtec, does this mean slight modification would be needed? Any info would be great before I do this for sure.

Reason I am doing is engine went on me.

I'm using a MY'05 engine out of a UK RHD car in a MY'00 LHD chassis.
The wiring harness is different.
Some water hoses are different.
A JDM engine has (IIRC) 2 knock-sensors but your ECU will only be looking for 1 so that should not be a problem - as long as you use your old wiring harness & ECU and connect only 1 knock sensor.
(I guess)

There are no other mechanical parts on the opposite side.

That said: you'll need to swap your clutch & throttle pedal L/R.
Its a bit confusing at first but you'll get used to it.

J/K about the pedals.
