Switch and extend your oil changes to 6,000 ish, the oil filter and oil will be able to accept that.
Second note: Synthetic blends are not worth the money, go Full synthetic or regular oil.
If you're going to continue changing your oil at 3,000 then stick to dino oil.

Check your calculation. Two previous owners combined did 18,900 miles; 24,900 total. Owner 1 did 17,500, so owner 2 put on 1,400 as stated, and owner 3 has added an additional 6,000 miles.
#1 17500 -ish 3 years
#2 1400 -ish 4 months
#3 5600 -ish, a drive cross country and a few weeks here in Hawaii.
