Synthetic motor oil and waranty?

It does not effect your warranty, but it should not be added until 7,500 miles or so (opinions vary). I like Royal Purple, but Mobile 1 and Redline are the most popular posts I remember.

Check your oil on a regular basis early on, maybe every other gas fill (unless you are a VTEC addict). Once you determine that your oil usage is minimal, change over to Synthetic.
Until then, top off with a good organic like Mobil, Castrol, etc...
As long as your oil meets the minimum SAE requirements listed in the owner's manual, log it, save your receipts, and you are covered.
