No i never got the the bottom of it. The farthest i got was a general agreement that the throwout bearing was to blame and the entire clutch replacement needed to be redone. But the mechanics who were confident of this recommended not to fix until it got much worse. (many who drove it could not even feel it but it drove me nuts). They thought there was no damage being done. So i didnt feel it was worth the cost to replace the clutch again and i couldnt get the original clutch installer to offer to do it. Drove it till summer 2014 and it never got worse. I have since exchanged the S2k for a better condition lowermileage model. Everyone who test drove it could not feel it either even though it bugged me. My new one does not have that issue.
