I mean the cylinder all the way on the left. When I swapped mine I pryed against that through the maint hole and it all came flying out at once. How did you remove the old one?

i took a plier and put in through the maintanence hole and pushed it out and it just came flying out and landed on the ground under my car but i only found the housing and spring

i looked through the hole and nothing was left and i just figured if there was still somethign in there, i wouldn't be able to put the new tensioner in perfectly

ok, so one crisis is averted, i found the missing pieces

i jacked my car up and took off the entire undertray and found the remaining 4 pieces

Now can somebody help me diagnoise the sound?

Somebody said it was the alternator pulley bearing or the water pump bearing?

if i get those chagned, would it sound normal again?

I would get a automotive stethascope. You can get one at sears for 10 bucks or so.
