Tein CS coilovers
i plan on purchasing the Tein CS coilovers for my s2000, because i just got rims and want to lower my car to my desired height and have the dampening adjustability. i know this is a street set-up, but that is what i am looking for, and pierceman can get me a great deal on them.
i've been doing a lot of research about installing springs/coilovers, because i plan on installing these coilovers myself...but i have some un-answered questions i hope some of you can help me out with:
1. do the Tein CS coilovers come with everything i need to install it? or do i need to reuse some parts from the stock shock? [besides the mounting bolts]
2. do these coilovers need to be preloaded? i'm assuming yes, but do i just lift the car by the lower control arm until that side of the car lifts off the jackstands?
3. once i have the coilovers in and adjusted/preloaded...if i ever change the ride height of the car, is that going to change the preload i have on the suspension?
sorry if these questions are not so clear, i'm new to all these terms and have never lowered an s2000 before. any help from the suspension guru's would be apprecaited though
