Hey there

I just got my some tein hood dampers and i just put them in

i have one problem though, it doesnt retract and the hood doesnt close

i was wondering if there was something special i have to do to get them to retract?

You could take them off and force retract them a few times, or use two people and push down evenly on both sides. Youll here cracking noises, but its normal.

I had this problem too when i had my Tein dampers. Loosen up the plates on the hood itself, and close it very slowly. You don't want to overtighten the bolts beucase you may break one off into the hood. Like me

thanks for the advice, i took them off to try to force them, after like 10 pumps, i got hella tired and couldnt do it anymore, about how many pumps does it take before it loosens up?

I did it a few times and very gently closed the hood the first time. Since then not a problem at all. Just be careful if you ever have any one else open your hood. I thought a friend of mine was going to nearly rip it off opening it one time.
