Default Test pipe install

I just got my T1R TP back from being fixed ( there was a recall on it about the o2 bung) so there is 2 holes in the TP and one of them has a bolt in it. My questions are what does the bolt do? and which hole in the TP does the fouler plug go, top hole or bottom hole?

also does anybody know if the J's racing filter that comes with the Tsuchinoko intake system is a washable filter? i recently bought this system from a fellow s2ki member and the filter needs to be cleaned, but i dont want to buy a filter cleaner kit and ruin the filter, and getting a replacement filter is out of the question ive called several places and they dont sell just the filter.

Thanks

I don't know but you can always wash it. Try some heavy duty soap and water or perhaps mechs hand cleaner then soap and water.
As long as the element holds up and doesn't dissolve into peices it can be dried, recharged(if wet system) and re-used.

The open hole in the pipe is where the fouler goes. Screw that in the the oxygen sensor into the fouler. The other hole is there for use with a wide band oxygen sensor that would be used with an air fuel gauge or for tuning purposes. So just leave that blot in an enjoy.

is the filter foam element?

K&n uses cotton media and i am sure the stuff they use to wash foam and cotton is totally different.

not all foam filter is serviceable, this is a very common misconcpetion about foam element/meida filter.(hks being one)

just email the source/MFG and ask them.
