Default ct engineering intake filter size?

the intake came with the car. just opened the cover to see the filter and it's a foam oiled filter. i want to replace it with a k&n filter or even the autozone spectre filter. anyone know what is the inlet size? and would those filters fit in there? has anyone done this?

why not just take it off and measure? it only takes a screwdriver and a couple of minutes.

Let me know if you have any luck...I had the foam filter. Such a pita to clean.

I would replace the foam filter on my comptech if it went bad or broke, but it isn't so hard to clean that I would switch to K&N. Pretty simple. Spray on cleaner, rinse off filter, let it dry, put on some plastic gloves and spray on the sticky red crap that helps the filter trap dirt.

I don't think k&n makes a filter that will fit. I searched through all the sizes at my local Oreileys and none matched up.
Just clean the Comptech filter. I think it's very good

+1. Measure and find the corresponding size on the K&N website.

I went through K&Ns list off filters you can buy and don't see any that would fit the icebox. Maybe I'm wrong
