If I didn't daily drive my car, I'd definitely put a TP on it. But having that smell hit me at every stop and in the garage...can't do it.

The smell is very noticeable. Every passenger has commented. Other cars have driven by me and screamed, "your car smells!"

You can smell your own car at a stop? I'm sure my car smells when I'm driving down the road but I've never had a passenger even notice or anyone say anything to me about it.

I ran a test pipe on my Eclipse and never had any problems or smells.

I smelled my car at *every* stop. It was driving me crazy. Only time I couldn't smell was if I was up-up and windows-up.

Car feels a lot more sluggish without the TP. I don't know how anyone could spend so much money on an aftermarket exhaust and not get a TP to really get some performance.

I really don't understand why nearly everyone complain about "the smell" with TP. I have a Berk TP on my S, and I can't smell any difference when I drive, stop at red lights or anything. I might smell a slight difference if I stand right behind the car and almost "sniff" the exhaust.. No one else have ever smelled anything or made a comment about it either..

If you can't smell it, you just don't have a very good sense of smell. I could definitely notice mine, especially coming to a stoplight after just getting on it. I, however, didn't mind the smell at all, but I've grown up around it (motorcycles, etc.)
