That intake tube is not a K&N part, and neither is the Vornado-whatever POS. Take it out now before a piece breaks off and destroys your engine. Buy or fab a new intake tube.

 

Just grab it with some side cutters and twist it out. Its a C shape spring loaded to hold itself in. Grab one edge of the C and twist in on itself to make it smaller while pulling outwards.

Its unlikely to be welded. Looks like a stainless item shoved up an aluminum pipe. Not metals you would normally be able to weld together.

 

Are you're being conservative

 

The turbonator is reputed to have a stronger effect than Viagra. If you get it out of the intake pipe in one piece throw it under your bed.

 

Is that a Turbonator between your legs or are you happy to see me?
