BlackS2000turbo,
did you have the banjo bolts upgrade? As you may know, I had my #1 cylinder scored, and I am currently waiting for the short block replacement. My mechanic told me that the oil bolt upgrade is a MUST especially in turboed S2000s....

In terms of engine replacement/ other stock parts, the cheapest that I have found is at Majestic Honda...

Good luck. I know how you must feel.....

Yainnis and Yellow Streak, have you guys considered water injection? Might be a way of reducing turbo-specific risks. The banjo bolt problem seems common to all of us, FI and NA, so it's really a separate issue (albeit one worth considering). Larry, I'm sorry to hear this. The water injection thread is:

Thx Chris,

interesting info. There is an Acquamist representative in Athens. I will visit, discuss and share the minute the car is ok again. Anything to avoid going through a similar problem again...

is there a "how things work" for exactly what happened with larry's car? I'm not all that familiar with the engine internals, but I would like to learn what exactly happened when larry "spun a rod" and the consequences that started etc. Thanks.
