think second gear synchro is shot

what service bulletin? what did u have to do ? u sure u tried the GM synchomesh "Friction modified" one?

Yes,i tried gm friction modifier and it did nothing for the grinding 2nd gear!I changed my shifting technique(the slight delay going into 2nd) and that helped but it totally sucked!!Who wants to drive a sports car like that?The bulletin has you replace 1st and 2nd gear sets.the bulletin is tsb-055 i believe.That is the ONLY way to fix the annoying grind!!
