So........2,320 for something that HOPEFULLY won't blow up. 
Looks like we need somebody who is really into RX-7's to see if there is a way to modify the rear end to fit into our car. Sure would think/hope that it would be less than that!!!
Plus it would be just about bullet proof. RX-7 guys would run 400+ with no issues.

The RX7 rear end seems to be pretty strong. I have a buddy whom has a 485 rwhp rx7 which has the stock diff. He says he has launched many times with it and had lots of wheel hop but the diff seems fine..
It would make sense that it would be possible to use the RX7 rear end since they are both Mazdas.....
That would be pretty cool, really.
