Shing - Called DC again today for status and they said another 2 weeks, for some reason they're backed up on production. The single ceramic on the order is being delivered to me, and I'll ship the ceramic as soon as I get it in. TimS2K reported noticeable difference in throttle response and power. What we will do eventually is dyno test it, espcially with those cars that has aftermarket exhausts.

Also, Shing, can you please email or PM me about the coating setup? We need to chat a bit.

Thanks!

At least this header isn't a direct copy (DC) of the Mugen S2000 header.

I have the Mugen header and the car feels completely different...much more mid-range torque, and the power-at-the-pedal is much more available. It's the single best mod I have done to the car...

There is a difference between 'throttle response' and "horsepower'.

Quite honestly, all I have seen so far from DC is what seemed to be a fabricated dyno chart.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Let me first start off by saying that I want the Mugen header.

With that said.....

I do not know if the DC header dyno plot was fabricated or not. However, before people say that it is take another look at the Mugen plot. Kind of makes you wonder why it looks funny as well.

So does DC have a fabricated plot or is it fact? What about Mugen? Highly doubt Mugen would fabricate anything but then again I don't know for a fact because I do not interact with them or DC for that matter. The only thing that is certain is that the dyno plots that I have seen look very similar except for DC and Mugen. Why who knows.

My 1/2 cent.

when I saw the DC headers I thought they were close copies of the Mugen, but of course they weren't. I can't comment on DC's effectiveness until Shingles can get a chance to dyno before and after.

we shall see, but I trust Tim's instincts about power gains.

I recall several folks saying the DC is fabricated because it did not cross at 5250, that is just had to cross at 5250 or it's fake. But then the Mugen does not cross at 5250 either. As an FYI, I've got a few charts of my CRX that does not cross at 5250, and I was there when they were done....

Anyways, guess we'll just ahve to wait a little longer so I can dyno mine when it comes in.
