Default Throttle body cleaning

is it ok to let soak in carb cleaner before cleaning? or do I need to clean it by hand w/ the cleaner only?

If you remove the throttle body from the manifold, just spray untill all the residue is gone.

If you leave the throttle body on the manifold, use only enough cleaner to soften the carbon, and a small wire brush to scubb the throttle opening. To much puddled throttle plate cleaner sitting in the manifold can hydrolock an engine . Some care needs to be taken in how much you are spraying inside the manifold.
