Thats what I had assumed. It started DIRECTLY after upgrading to the 1.49 firmware. But I was ASSURED that it was not the problem by people here and on the emanage forum.

Swap back to the old firmware. If the problem goes away that's your fix.

The e-manage being in the circuit complicates the troubleshooting.

Alright. Updat. I was out messing with the software/firmware and unzipping different versions. Doing some things that I don't think I should be doing lol.
I was actually able to get the code to trip WITHOUT THE CAR RUNNING. Key on engine off and it would be thrown. I went to a different firmware and my car was running pig rich pegged at 10:1 the code went away but I couldn't tune the car at all??? I kept forgetting to update the main unit and blah blah blah. I am honestly not to worried about not going into vtec right now. I plan to get rid of this darned emanage. I am just curious as to what could be causing it.

Your e-manage is the root cause of many of your problems.

^ I know and thank you for coping with my many bs questions that are the result of something that I need to get rid of anyway. I am the king of emanage blue problems.

22-25 psi oil pressure at idle and 75 psi at 3000rpms. I am ruling out the oil pressure as being the cause. I ran some continuity tests from the switch to spots higher in the harness and all checked out. I couldn't get a direct shot at the actual vtec pressure switch as my piping is in the way. I did remove the solenoid to check to see if it would open and it does. It may be the oil pressure switch or something in the emanage. I may purchase another vtec solenoid to see if that cures this problem and in about a month will be switching to the AEM.

is somehting like this possible with the OBD-II??
