Thumping noise from rear as slowing down.
When I apply the brakes, I hear a thump thump thump noise from the rear.
This is at about 30mph to 0 mph. As the car slows down, the thumping slows down as well.
I have no idea what's the problem but it only happens whenever I hold the brake and if I let go noise is gone but if I hold it again it makes the noise.
Any idea what it is? I just got my differential fluid done 3 days and I am not sure if that has to do with anything.

Hmm no reply? I setup an appointment with honda tomorrow to find out whats wrong with it. I am guessing it is brake pads that isnt oem. The dealer who sold it probably did not put oem.
Does it sound like it's coming from one side more than the other? I doubt it would be differential related if it's only when braking. I'd pull the rear tires off and take a good look at the brakes. Are your rotors stock? I've seen drilled rotors crack before and they'll make a thumping sound like you describe.
Sounds like one side is louder than the other.
And rotors are stock, so it might be warped.
Pads are new but I can't tell if they are OEM or aftermarket.
But I am assuming that is aftermarket because used car dealership put it in.
I will check with dealership tomorrow if they can find anything.
