Arrow Ticking noise

Okay, so i get this ticking noise when the car heats up. It increases speed when i increase the RPMs. I have replaced the spark plugs gapped to .035, put in different ignition coils, changed the oil, adjusted the vavles, and driven hard and soft and it is there at idle and yea. I dont hear it when i start to drive the car. Bt after i get off the interstate after driving to and from work i can hear it. But i do have to go through traffic to get to the interstate and cant hear it before i get there at idle.

All i can think of it that the valves are messed up but i figured Honda would have caught that when they adusted them last night.

I have 75k miles, 2001, VTSC for 8k miles, changed the oil every 3k miles before the supercharger and every 2k miles since the VTSC. I check the oil every time i gas up. The car drives absolutely normal and has no loss in power that i can feel. I ran my friends STI tonight and we are still dead even. So i am lost. Please help

TIA Skate

Ty an old fashioned automotive stethoscope on the timing TCT. Could possibly be coming from an exhaust leak.

ahhhhaaaa! you know what, i have always seen some kind of stuff in the FI section and i had no idea what it was.

So two questions.

1: How bad is it to drive in this condition?

2: How hard is it to fix. I could have my tuner do it tomorrow if necessary. Unless it takes more than an hour or some ridiculous procedure.

this is what i thought it was, i can hear it in the passenger wheel well better than i can with the hood open. So that too could be it. So what, a new exhaust manifold gasket would fix that? I will be going to my tuner either way tomorrow.

okay so i am becomming more convinced that it is the TCT the more i read about it. The only problem is that i am supercahrged. Do you guys think i can change this out without removing the supercharger and backplate? here is the thread

Do you think i could pull the pin before inserting the new TCT?
