Default ticking noise from diff end of drivesaft.

I have recently replace the diff with a newer diff with only 20k on it...and a new tranny as well...but the drivesaft is still the same one...i have a ticking noise present when in reverse or starting of in first gear..i have been through 3 diff and know for sure it is not a diff problem...i got under the car and rotated the play in the driveshaft and their is the same knocking noise coming from the drivesaft when i rotate it and when i drive...so could this be a possible failure of the rear drivesaft bushing??? please and info would be helpful...

I'm not sure if this could be the same problem you are speaking of, but theres another thread here that just started looking for answers to a similar problem.

Not much has been said about this topic yet though.

Do you mean the ticking noise is there for a while?
Or just when you change direction?
That sounds like axle nut torque and/or play in the hub & axle.

If the noise is there all the time I would carefully inspect the inner CV's.
(that means opening them up I guess)
