Default Ticking - thoughts?

Hey everyone... I just took my car out of storage the other day and noticed a ticking noise almost immediately after starting the car in the cabin (card in the spokes). This noise didn't exist last summer whatsoever. Seems to be worse after a really cold start, almost non-existant after the car is warm. Doesn't get louder, actually seems to completely go away when driving. Can't hear the ticking at all with the hood popped, only from the cabin. The noise is more prominent on the drivers side as you'll see in the video. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You'll notice here that you can really only hear it on the drivers side:

* Also, the oil was just changed.

Anything guys?

Could this be a bearing issue? Doesnt have a knock per say but it seems like its lower or mid engine. Injector problem? Really miffed.

This is like the 4th thread this week with the same noise. Can anyone confirm that its a Piston Slap noise we hear ?

A lot of things on this engine will make a ticking noise. Many of which can be considered normal. Why didn't you do a recording while moving the camera around under the hood? Doing it inside the cabin won't achieve much. In fact, you are the one who has the most control over locating where and what is making this sound. Using a mechanics stethoscope and listening to everything you can under the hood will do more for you than asking what people think it might be from a couple of in cabin videos.

Yea, i did mention in my first post that this noise cannot be heard under the hood. Even pulling on the throttle. Thought it was different enough to post it. I had the noise prior to and after the oil was changed. Tried to replicate the sound at Honda but the car was warm and they basically called me paranoid.

Need more input from Billman on this one. Do some search on Piston Slap on S2k. I read one thread where Bill said it is in fact piston slap.

ps. I do have exactly the same noise with exactly the same symptoms as you.
