how does it go from "normal 6 days ago" to 4 quarts down? how can one read a dipstick that incorrectly? keep an eye on #4

wow thank god for xviper and this thread. shiet! i think i may have solved my problems. we'll see after i fill up engine oil tomorrow. i have the exact symptoms. uhoh..

First off, making a post about what you think might be your problem before you've even attempted troubleshooting it is pointless. You just brought an old thread back from the dead to tell us that you MIGHT have the same problem but don't know yet because you haven't filled up with oil.

Which brings me to my next question, why on earth are you running your car with 1.5qts of oil? That was the OP's problem, are you saying that you too are deficient when it comes to keeping oil in your engine?

If your oil light is flickering and your car has problems going into and/or staying in VTEC but your engine oil is full then you have other issues.
