Is it time to replace my rear diff bushings? (PICS)
I have heard that the rear diff bushings crack, wear out, and leak? but I'm not sure exactly what it looks like.
I don't see any oil coming out so I'm afraid they let go miles ago. I'm not sure if its related but I do notice that my shifter vibrates pretty violently at the top of 2nd and 3rd gear at WOT.

Go OEM, also, stick a feeler gauge and see if it goes inside the rubber. They can crack on the outside and still be intact, if you see a bunch of dried up fluid all over the bottom of the bushing then they're done. It's impossible to miss the brown fluid that leaks from them, they stain the bracket it sits on.
Hey Soviet, I went through the same thing and my review of Innovative 75A diff and motor mounts:
As an original owner, and after about 65k miles and 2,500 track miles my rear diff and motor mounts were hosed last year. I'm very particular about my handling and do not throw on aftermarket parts quickly as usually when you add one part it messes up 3 other things in your geometry if you're not careful. Keeping that in mind:
I replaced them all with Innovate 75A but after a week I swapped the motor mounts back to OEM but left the diff mounts in. The 75A motor mounts were too stiff in that they caused massive vibration at idle that made the entire car literally jump up and down, as a daily driver it was undriveable to me in Los Angeles, with half the time bumper to bumper traffic. However, the Innovative diff mounts barely add any additional vibration to the car, in fact I wouldn't call it vibration, but you feel your diff and components moving in the ass of your car through the ass of your seat, but just a little bit, it's more of a movement that you feel, not a buzz or vibration. It's added bonus if you have a lady passenger imo.
If you like the feel of OEM, without adding the hassle of after market the diff mounts would be acceptable. It does feel tightened up when driving and you will adjust your driving a bit to compensate as there's less slop when you shift, just a bit, but after a few days you won't notice. Overall, I could have gone with the OEM mounts and probably been just as happy either way.

I didn't find any reviews on the diff mounts so I'm really happy that you chimed in. I have found some used diff mounts on Ebay for ~50 but who knows how long they will last so I will probably end up going with the Innovative Mounts.

I believe that I went with the Innovative mounts because they were less expensive then the OEM and the mechanic had them there (he's a good salesman haha).
I did hear that also about the motor mounts loosening up over time, I couldn't wait another month for vibration relief, but for a track car this wouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for all your help guys!
