timing chain guides torque specs

Default timing chain guides torque specs

hi,

i'm having trouble finding anything in my service manual about the torque specs for the timing chain guides. anybody know what they are?

I've never had the chain case cover off, so I'm not exactly familiar with how the guides mount. However, they appear to be sitting on dowels, and the chain case is bolted on top of that assembly. Torque for the chain case is 33 ft-lbs for the very top pair of bolts and 8.7 ft-lbs for the other 8.

Just found this too. The oil pump chain guide bolts are also 8.7 ft-lbs, so I would imagine the timing chain guides would be the same. Hope this helps.
