Default Tips on removing the fuel pump

So I'm going to replace the fuelpump soon with a walbro one. I have the honda workshop manual, if anyone has any tips to share about the whole process it would be most appreciated.

Search is down at the moment.

How long can i bank on it taking?

How much do i need to cut off the existing pipe to the fuel pump? what tools do i need apart from a screwdriver?

Also could aI split it into 2 hours a day? and is it worth getting a new fuel pump gasket and sock (fuel filter)? - i have no idea the what the condition of the existing sock is - its never been changed in lifetime I've had the car.

Thanks
