Default TOP WON'T CLOSE NOW

Well, I did a dumbass. Left a parking lot with the top not latched and when it caught the wind and I noticed it, I pulled over immediately. Now it will retract fine but will not completely go forward to the latches so I cannot close it up. looking at the top mechanism, there are a lot of allen headed bolts so I'm hoping maybe I can loosen each side some, put the top back in position, and latch it and then retighten the allen bolts. The hope is that the framework might have rotated some and that I can reset it.

Anyone else ever have this happen? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Photos of what it looks like would be helpful... dont mess with any screws, chances are that all it needs is little push from top so you can latch it up and the frame with straighten out that way. (kind of like when you put new replacement top on it doesn't close fully first time and needs little help)

the wind might have done a damage to the motor as the gears was force to be open on the softop motor. this is one possibility.

how fast was it when it caught. because i read somewhere above 15mph with your soft top half open can damage your top

I can't help you with your problem, but before you mess with any of the allen head bolts, make sure they're not spot welded on the other side. Don't ask how I found that out...
