Default torque spec for rear control arms

So I finished rebushing all the control arms and was consulting the helms for the torque specifications for the rear upper and lower control arms. Three of the four bolts have torque specs over 90 ft-lbs. Is this correct? Looking at the bolt size and threads I was anticipating something between 40-55 ft-lbs. Anyone have any insight into this?

Yeah the book shows 97.6 ftlbs for the upper control arms and 90.4 ftlbs for one and 54 ftlb for the other on the lower bolts.

That is for 2000-2003.

I got that, but that doesn't look a bit high? The engine to tranny bolts (which see quite a bit of vibration) only have 40+ ft-lbs of torque. 90+ just seems crazy. I know Billman mentioned there were a few errors in the helms. I was wondering if this was one of them.

Not sure but think about the force on those bolts under cornering load.

Hopefully someone that has worked on those will chime in.
