It is according to the 00-03 S2000 service manual, I don't know what it is for other cars. Section 11-58 and 11-59. Of course the service manual also states approximately so I say if it works for you keep it. Remember even exact science has no hard numbers, there is always reality to mess with our perfect formulas.

 

Okay cool, I'll use that as a guideline. Mine is a 2002, and my TPS is adjustable. In my service manual it is page 11-50, I guess there are a few different versions of the manual, but it is in the section dealing with the TPS either way.

I can't say 100% that my setting has worked perfectly, I would prefer a bit more idle rpms so moving it up a bit may be the ticket for me. I think I am around 4-5% at closed throttle right now. I appreciate the reply.

 

Ok ill put it up to 0.4 at idle see jow that works. It runs fine on 0.3 but idles low sometimes

 

I had a chance to check mine today, it was 5% with throttle closed, I adjusted it up to 6% just to be within spec, it is reading 90% fully open. Probably not much of a difference but it is now right on spec.
