Default TPS Woes

Ok so car is throwing a tps code and I don't want to spend a jillion on a whole new throttle body just to get the sensor.

I see that there are a few aftermarket honda TPS sensors but none recommended for the S2000.


Then in a search I found this post:


[B]I could not find an exact replacement but the OMNI-Power Replacement TPS Sensor TPS-B-01 works just fine. The connecting plug sits lower requiring a clip on the wiring harness to be unsnapped. This clip can be snapped back in after plugging in the TPS. The voltage should read about .5 volts between the center pin and ground (the bottom pin). The tps can rotate to adjust for voltage. I checked the voltage on the original part and it was .12 volts. I had to perform the

Look in the FAQ DIY sticky...there is a very detailed DIY for using a generic TPS.
