Yes.

Honda uses MTF in all its S2000 trannies - the 2004 does not need anything special. Do a Search on the analysis and comments I made on GMSFM in my 2004. Skinny: it worked great.

Oh, it is LE-607, not 601 by the way.

Not to mention that the Neo falls apart in high heat conditions and lasts about 3-4K miles before it needs to be flushed.

GM Sychromesh Friction Modified by far!

I used the black bottle as purchased from my local Chevy dealer.

This stuff makes it so easy to shift you have to be careful and more precise, no joke.

I tried Redline MTL and MT-90 prior to the GMSMFM. MT-90 worked well after 30 minutes of driving, but not nearly as good as the the GM...

i really dont think somebody in detroit sat down and conjureded up the formula for GMSFM. I'm sure that that type of production is outsourced to an oil manufacturer... silly head.

GM Synchromesh FM has been awesome - and far superior to Honda MTF - in my '02 S2000.

So I guess we don't have to worry about you doing an LS6 swap then

Seriously GM obviously doesn't manufacture the fliud it just happens to be designed for a GM tranny but happens to work rather well for other trannys. There are a ton of people using it in a variety of trannys

While I'm not the biggest GM fan, and the folks that work at the Tinker AFB auto hobby shop razzed me to no end when they saw 'Mr. Honda guy' "polluting" my S2000 with a GM product (they both own late 60's Z28s) ... the fact is GMSMFM is the best fluid out there for our transmissions and until Honda gets off their duff and improve their formula, that's the product I'll be using.

Conformist in the transmission but non-conformist in the diff?? Your reasoning seems a little flawed.

Redline MT-90 is great. I changed my tranny at 30k and its runny
smoother than ever.

Actually, with such a silly post about GM, the fact that GMSFM was designed for a tranny made by New Venture is just casting pearls before swine.
