tranny fluid.
i know your supposed to raise the car up on its driver side and then fill her up with about 2 quarts, thenlet the excess fall out while on level ground.
But i was just curious cause i had a situation where my tubing fell out as i was pumping and i spilled a good amount. And i dont know if i didnt have the car raised high enough but there was no way near 2 quarts that went in the tranny.
i believe that at the most i had 1.7 quarts in the tranny all said and done.
in the owners man. it doesnt say exactly how much goes in , so i wondered does anyone know?

Capacity is 1.56 US qts (1.30 Imp qrts.) as Slow said. It is common practice to "jack" the car to allow more fluid in (~1.65-1.75 qts). In theory more fluid allows more thermal mass to dissipate heat.

Buy 3 qts to be safe. I went to the dealership to buy 2 but the guy at the parts dept recommended 3 just to be safe so I went with it. Glad I did because it is hard to get every drop out of the bottles (unless you have a long tube\pump), plus if you spill some you don't want to have to run out to get more.
